There are two doors on the building's ground floor. One opens to a self-contained studio apartment, which the current owners use as an artist's room. The other, leads to the kitchen area of the main house, the guest toilet and to a small storeroom. The kitchen is connected to the lounge through an arched doorway. A wood burning stove sits at the right corner of the lounge. At the left corner is the wooden staircase that leads to the top floor. A patio door opens to the terraced area and the garden. Another doorway leads from the lounge to the dining room. Both the lounge and the dining room are tiled and have beautiful wooden beamed ceilings. At the far end of the ground floor, off the dining room, is a small shower room. The top floor can be accessed either through the internal staircase from the lounge or the external staircase on the left side of the building. The wooden staircase leads to a corridor were the five bedrooms (one en suite) and the two bathrooms are. The first bedroom opens to the veranda of the external staircase and the master bedroom opens to the big covered balcony with views of the mountains, the garden area and the village itself. |
